2. Find the “Connect Wallet” button: Look for and click “Connect Wallet”, typically located at the top right corner of the page.

3. Select Phantom: A pop-up window will appear displaying various wallet options. Select “Phantom” from this list. (Please ensure you have the Phantom Wallet browser extension already installed in your browser for this step to work smoothly).

4. Approve the connection: Phantom will then prompt you to sign a message to approve the connection. Simply click “Confirm” to approve and continue.
5. Verify connection: Just like that, your Phantom wallet will be connected to Smarts. You’ll see your wallet address displayed, confirming you’re ready to proceed.

**NOTE Regarding other wallets: For the example in this post we talk primarily about connecting to Smarts with a Phantom Wallet.  But you can use other Web3 wallets. There has been a demonstration of the bot working on Binance Smart Chain and it used a Trust Wallet. I have also had success testing an Exodus wallet. You may want to research independently and verify if other wallets can be used with Smarts. Also, if you want to be cautious when trying out Smarts, it may be a prudent strategy to open a new one of these new Web3 wallets and limit how much you fund it.

How to Activate Your SMARTS MEV Bot
